Timeless Tweed

Tweed is always a classic choice for fall. It's just so versatile-- go casual and combine it with jeans and an oxford shirt, or fancy it up with a flirty frock. Both ways are chic and easy. This trend looks modern and fresh at the fall 09 runway shows- simple elegance come to mind. Designers like Burberry and Karl Lagerfeld know how to make tweed look stylish, smart, and sexy. I've picked a few pieces that are perfect for day, not to mention darling for work. Who could ask for more?

I love the way tweed has been styled at the runway shows.

  4. I love tweed (if only it weren't so heavy -- here in Houston I can only wear it a few days a year). I'd say the DKNY look is my favorite...I love the rocker edge!

  13. These are GORGEOUS :) I can't choose one or even some - what if I would like all of these pieces? My grandma is a talented knitter, and knit me the softest pink hat that was on the cover of Vogue Knitting. I could see it pairing well with these warm-toned pieces...

  15. Wonderful tweed pieces! You're right, tweed is so classic & always chic. Here in Texas, it doesn't get too cold, but never mind that:) I have a couple of tweed pieces I always wear during fall or winter. BTW, heart those flats!
